Bennett Newsome, better known as DamnitBennett, is a Twitch Partner, gaming content creator, and esports industry leader with over 18 years of experience at Full Sail University. As the Director of Esports Growth and Development, Bennett combines his strategic leadership, gaming expertise, and extensive industry connections to drive innovation and foster community in collegiate esports.

On Twitch, Bennett engages his audience with entertaining and relatable streams, playing first-person shooter games and often embracing his self-proclaimed status as "a noob." Streaming Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Bennett has cultivated a dedicated community of viewers.

Bennett is also the co-owner of whereisxur.com, a leading Destiny 2 resource site, and collaborates with brands like Glorious, Kings Coast, and Gamer Advantage. He hosts the podcast Have Game Will Travel, where he interviews influential leaders in gaming and esports, spotlighting their journeys and insights into the industry.

With a background in leadership, marketing, and design developed through two decades as a musician and band leader, Bennett brings creativity and versatility to all his projects. Whether helping oversee the growth and direction of Full Sail’s esports programs or mentoring the next generation of talent, Bennett is dedicated to fostering growth and inclusivity in the gaming community.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Bennett enjoys spending time with his wife and exploring new opportunities to connect and grow within the gaming and esports world. He is a connector, creator, and community builder who strives to elevate gaming for everyone involved.
